Soliya

Soliya was a very impactful experience and its platform was very easy to use and learn from. Solyia gave me a lot of courage having our cameras on and being able to hear and see each other made it easier for us to share our thoughts and feelings. I think it’s an amazing platform that helps students  all over the world connect and get out of their comfort zone, learn new things, understand their biases, and discuss their point of views. Solyia can really change the world because it helps people in getting rid of their stereotypes and providing people a space where they can understand different cultures.

In class screens

Our educational experience was much improved by the projection screen. It greatly improved our comprehension of a variety of subjects by enabling us to examine six slides from the same presentation at once. This feature gave us the freedom to decide what we wanted to talk about and allowed us to investigate many ideas at once. In addition to making our class time more effective and reasonable, having access to all six slides gave me a feeling of satisfaction as I finished each one. It established a well-organised setting in which we could go through the activities with ease. The display of the daily activities as soon as we entered the classroom during our morning sessions allowed for seamless transitions and maintained our attention. Also it made me always know what i’m going to do even if i am late since each one had instructions for what we are going to do in which board. Also having six slides and a rotating chair made it really easy for us to look wherever we want and still focus even if we are getting distracted you will always find another screen to look at. It was very good and useful and I wish all classes at AUC had the same thing since it always makes us focused.

Google slides 

I was surprised that google slides had these options of creating a link and going from a slide to slide. I think google slides is very important and effective since it has a variety of tools that could decorate and enhance any presentation. While using it for creating the game it took a lot of time from me because we need to click on each thing and put a link to each slide but also i think this idea is really helpful and i’m sure that i will use  it in my future life a lot. I never imagined that I would do a game one day and that there are tools that can help a student like me to do a game.

Slack

Slack was very helpful and easy to use because it made sharing our findings, thoughts, feelings, and feedback easier it was like a whatsapp group you can say things for everyone and you can send people privately instead of having a lot of time in the process of writing each other emails it was just by opening slack and writing what we want. I think slack should be used in other courses because it makes communication easier and faster.

Ai

AI plays a significant role in this course and in our everyday lives. One of the most valuable aspects of this course is that it teaches you about the use of  AI, empowering us to decide how to incorporate it into our work and if we want and need it or not. Personally, I found AI to be helpful and not at the same time while creating my game. It helped me in developing the ideas I have in mind into a  well structured scenario. Also it sometimes gave me more ideas in what I could add and it helped me in going beyond my thinking. AI sometimes makes me regret using it in the first place because sometimes it’s not helpful at all, it just makes it worse and takes more time from me. That’s why for me I use AI in only the simple things like summarizing, making something better, checking if what I’m doing is right or not. I don’t rely on it in writing or doing something. I think AI can help me in my future career of course as our media ethics instructor encourages us to try solving the case studies with AI since it can go beyond our thinking and give us a variety of choices, thoughts, and ideas. We don’t know everything in life. It is a journey where we try to learn and think deeply in every situation. I think a lot of people around me know how to really use AI in a good way and I’m looking forward to being one of those people. AI is not well developed for us to say that it is good but of course sometimes it is helpful and it can sometimes save time.

Reflect creativity course

It was really easy to learn how to use the blog posts. It helped me in displaying my assignment in a creative way and in a perfect way since everyone can view what I did. It encourages me to try my best in doing the assignment in a beautiful way. I really enjoyed using it. I felt that I was an important person sharing something. Also it has a lot of amazing options that help us in getting all the creative ideas we have in mind in a post. At the beginning I didn’t really understand why we are using it and what this tool is going to help us in but now I understand that it helps us in learning a new tool that will help us throughout life in always being outstanding and creative with sharing your ideas. I think this tool is really good and useful and I am very grateful for learning how to use it.
