I am reflecting on 6 games online and 1 board game

I felt very hopeless and devastated playing this game. Moreover, I learned that the smallest things that we don’t care about or give attention to while spending money really matters for other people. I also learned that we should really appreciate what we have and not waste money on meaningless stuff. I would suggest that some graphics can be added to make the person playing visualize the situation more.

It took me so much time to think about each situation and what I would do. This made me realize how fast they are supposed to make decisions and how being fast can affect them later. I learned not to judge people and think multiple times before assuming things, while I don’t know the whole story and how much people are suffering. I would suggest adding facts on the side of the pictures that actually happened to make people playing the gam more knowledgeable about what’s happening in the world around them.

I really enjoyed learning from the game; everything about it is good and easy to understand. It also conveys the message of climate change very well and easily. I learned that climate change not only affects the weather but also causes floods, hurricanes, and drought. Moreover, I don’t think the game needs improvement. It makes good sense to me.

The game was a bit confusing for me at the beginning, but I began to understand it and easily made the decisions. I learned that not everyone can post fake news. There are some tactics that people use. The game took me through some of these tactics. I would suggest maybe adding a hint button could be added to give the person playing the game some ideas of how people spread fake news.

I was confused as I thought from the name of the game” know yourself” that there would be questions about myself, not how I will act in some situations. It was heart-touching still. I learned that whatever the situation is, I should give people the space and opportunity to explain and not judge them without asking. I would suggest to change the name of the game to “judgment-free” for example.

I was worried and anxious. I have recently had a car accident, so I wanted to play this game to see how people feel in similar situations. I learned that I shouldn’t just do anything because everyone is doing it. Being done by everyone does not mean it is right. I would suggest changing the fonts and making some of the background pictures of the slides more transparent.

Playing this game made me think deeper of how I feel in different situations. I am a person who hardly reflects on anything daily. Moreover, playing the game made me want to give more attention to my emotions throughout the day.

After reflecting on these games, I think that I will do my game on Google Docs. I will try to make the game as beneficial as possible.
