AI has become a very hot topic today. Whether it’s used for research, learning or even fun conversations, AI has proven itself to be very useful in our daily lives. Many AI tools nowadays offer a variety of services and functions. I took four tools and assessed them each and gave them a final rating.

Perplexity: This tool was incredibly quick with it’s responses and services. It offered really good sources when asked and is very talkative and over-does it when asked about a certain topic. Uses very clear words but the organization of information is a bit tacky and needs some adjustment.

ChatGPT: This tool is a bit slow in responses but shoots back with incredible perspectives and feels almost alive. It is on the more personal side rather than professional. It asks the users opinion and even touches on some old chats based on it’s memory of the user. The sources are very good and reliable and it gives just enough details without sparing the important informatio.

Research Rabbit: This tool offered many useful papers for research, papers and even citations. The UI isn’t very attractive and it is difficult to understand at first glance but is smooth and operates well after getting familiar with the system. It finds papers quick and easy and offers a wide selection of very helpful tools.

Notebook LM: This tool offers a variety of different uses and what intrigued me the most was the “conversation generator”. I uploaded a document about morality and asked the tool what morality is but it gave no answer which was disappointing. The generated conversation was very impressive and entertaining. Very natural and interesting audio feel.
