Which AI Tool Is The Real GOAT?
Hello everybody,
This blog will finally end the debate on which AI tool is the real “GOAT”. Let me walk you through my journey to end this debate. First I opened an AI tool named Consensus. I asked this AI tool one of the basic questions each and every Egyptian should know which is “what is well known about the nubian heritage?” the findings amazed me let me share with you a screenshot of the findings.

These findings showed that this type of AI tool does not know much about the basics of the Nubian heritage in Egypt. However, the tool showed some useful resources one can read about. Unfortunately, there was no mentioning about the Nubian architecture and the Nubian Pyramids which made me think about using other tools to get sources like Google Scholar. Google Scholar showed Excellent results compared to Consensus. Let me show you what I found.

This showed the real heritage of Nubia and some resources about the monuments which included the Nubian pyramids! Anyway, I moved on to try another AI tool named Keenious. This AI tool showed me similar findings exactly like Consensus which made me think in a different way. What if those 2 AI tools already have other use rather than answering in depth about culture and civilizations? But before I go to the next tool, I want to share the findings with you as ap proof.

Now after reviewing 2 AI tools and they seem like they have another use. Let us explore perplexity. Perplexity actually was precise and got more resources related to the real heritage as you can see in the images below.

After seeing the images below, I can admit that perplexity made the job 100% right. This tool got to the roots of the Nubian heritage including their traditions and practices. But do you think Perplexity won the fight? Absolutely not. I have to be fair to avoid any prima facia. I continued with the first AI tool that made social media go on fire, CHAT GPT, but do you think it will be worth it to include it in the debate? Let us see. I will now share my findings for the same exact question I asked the rest of the AI tools.

As you can see here, the AI tool almost exceeded my expectations, It really got what I wanted to see, the heritage, and the basics of the Nubia but without references. What I want to say is that CHAT GPT may be trained differently than other AI tools. That’s why the answer is precise and correct! Now before you get to know my ranking for each let us share the pros and cons of each AI tool.
CHAT GPT pros are the following: Versatile and conversational where it can handle numerous topics at a time with good responses
CONS: There are no Direct citations. This may be some sort of distortion.
KEENIOUS PROS: Academic-Oriented, the resources are all academic. This can be seen in the screenshots
CONS: May require subscriptions as CHAT GPT & Limited to academic learning only.
CONSENSUS PROS: Credible Sources that have evident academic papers. This can be seen in the screenshots
CONS: Not Always Comprehensive as it depends on available research databases as we saw in the Nubian heritage.
PERPLEXITY PROS:
Good for Research as it is suitable for fact-checking and quick knowledge retrieval and it updates its sources regularly.
PERPLEXITY CONS: Depends on the quality of the web search. Imagine if one day the internet was hacked and the sources were invalid. Perplexity will update the data into false ones and will eventually provide us with the wrong data. You may say this may work on all AI tools, but this one specifically updates the resources regularly unlike CHAT GPT.
Last but not least, I want to share what KEENIOUS shared with me when I asked him about his opinion in a paragraph about Prima facie.

This actually Validates my point, as KEENIOUS and CONSENSUS are AI tools based on academic research only and are not conversational like Chat GPT.
To end this debate, from my point of view, I do believe that Chat GPT will rank first ” THE GOAT”, then Perplexity, and then KEENIOUS and CONSENSUS. I want to know what you guys think and let me know. I am open to any questions and recommendations! If you find any other useful AI tool let me know please.
Until Next Blog,
Marwan.

interesting! Loved the GOAT terminology (made me think of tennis right away haha) – but I’m interested in how you came to the judgment… and why tools that give you academic sources are considered… bad. Bad for what? You know?
