I watched the Ted Talk How language shapes the way we think because it seemed intreating. The speaker mentioned how “human minds invented not one cognitive universe, but seven thousand,” and this really stayed with me because it completely changed how I think about culture and difference.

It put into perspective for me just how powerful and creative the human mind is, and how many ways there are to understand and experience the world.
