1)In this class I have learned a lot throughout the activities we had and class interactions. This class helped me enhance my social skills by making more friends and getting to know their future goals and what they want from life.Especially in the first 10 minutes questions that we get to hear different responses.I am not a type of person that shows their emotions easily but definitely this class helped. The assignment that i most enjoyed was May Emad’s video because she was addressing the importance of expressing your feelings and talk loudly.Since as i mentioned that’s what i always struggle with.Another assignment which was exciting but also challenging to do was the ALCTV.Getting in the position that you have to be addressing and talking about your own accomplishments is not easy as how i thought. But this assignment helped me to find a meaning to my goals. However, what i accomplished was not a major accomplishment but i am blessed of what i did and proud of who am i now. Also the activities we did outdoors was so fun and felt warm to get to talk outside of the classroom.Something I learned about myself is that I sometimes struggle to express my feelings and show my emotions. But in this class i was comfortable to talk loudly without feeling nervous or being afraid to be judged. My mindset also changed overtime of how i view the world.Class discussions about bias and stereotypes made me deeply understand them from a different perspective. Not only class discussions but also the Ted Talks we watched in class. For example Chimamanda’s talk “The danger of a single story” she explained how stereotypes begin when we only get to hear one perspective about a person or group. She explains that hearing multiple stories helps us understand people’s complexities and realities, preventing misunderstandings and biases. Adichie shares her own experiences to understand the importance of diverse points of views.

3)In my first soliya session surprisingly i was so interactive and i participated a lot.And that made me realize that i am much more comfortable when i talk around people i don’t know personally.I really enjoyed the idea that i had the chance to interact with people that are different from me.Sharing different ideas, values and experiences.I realized that global citizenship means that i have to participate and be much more open minded. The questions i have is that “How do my actions affect people around the world?” and “What and how can I learn from people from different cultures?”.Soliya sessions are a tool to respectfully communicate with people from other cultures and this helps me to understand different perspectives and build empathy;learning to appreciate and celebrate cultural differences, which can lead to better friendships and collaborations.
4)I think Soliya sessions give me a big opportunity to talk about the Palestinian-israeli conflict in a respectful way and give a chance to educate people about the hidden truth. The support I might need is guidance on how to facilitate discussions about sensitive topics. And i will also mention how social media has the potential to shape our beliefs even if the information is not true and does not even show 0.5% of what palestinians are actually going through.
