Echoes of Identity

Hello Guys!

Happy to write a blog again. This time is different than the last time as it coincides with some of the concepts that I live with. For this assignment, I watched Taiye Selasi’s TED Talk. This talk had a quote that attracted me and made me put this cover picture of the blog featuring me with Eduard Sacher. This quote is “All experience is local. All identity is experience.”  This quote encapsulates the idea of self belonging is rooted in the places we visit and influenced by the people we meet there. It also has a deep meaning as it allows us as human beings to challenge ourselves in order to see ourselves as multilayered human beings; being shaped by experience and interactions with different people. This has an implied meaning for me that humans should be dynamic, and fluid like water. We have to be shapeless, formless, and adapt to every environment to gain more and more experiences that can shape us in the future to be who we “REALLY” are.

I believe after this blog, you can see the aspects that I discussed and I am open to any recommendations. I am looking forward to seeing your reviews on this TedTalk.
