My Game is Finally Live! Can You Survive the “Red Market”?
Have you ever felt that sinking feeling in your stomach as you watch a market crash? That mix of panic, hope, and regret?
I have. And I turned that experience into a game.
This is My True Story
In 2020, I got into crypto trading. I was full of hope, watching videos on TikTok, and sure I was going to get ‘rich’. I sold my phone and put all the money I had into the market.
At first, I felt like a genius. I was winning. Then… the Russia-Ukraine war started, and the market went into a freefall. I lost everything.
“Red Market” is a simulation of that emotional rollercoaster.
Can You Make Better Choices Than I Did?
“Red Market” is a text-based game where you play as me. You start with $400 in “Cash on Hand” and a “Stress Level” that is dangerously low.
- Will you be a cautious investor and only put in $100?
- Will you go all-in like I did?
- What will you do when the Shiba INU hype starts on TikTok?
- How will you react when you see the “WAR IN EUROPE” news alert and your “Crypto Wallet” starts to evaporate?
Every choice you make impacts your money and your stress. You’ll have to manage your “Crypto Wallet” versus your “Cash on Hand” and try to navigate the panic.
This game isn’t just about winning. It’s about surviving a storm of hype, FOMO, and real-world consequences. There are multiple endings tho.
will you end up with a $350 profit, or will you be “Defeated,” left with nothing but $50 of a worthless meme coin?
How I created this game
For this project, I decided to build it directly with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I got a lot of help with the coding from AI tools like **Gemini** and **ChatGPT**.
To share it with you, I published the final HTML file on **Netlify**, which is a platform for hosting websites (with free domains).

Nice work! There is an infinite loop at some point in one of the paths. I’ll try to remember how I got there so I can tell you, but it’s where you are thinking of holding $110 – the game doesn’t end… but there are other paths where the game does end.
