I chose Taiye Selasis TED Talk: “Don’t Ask Where Im From, Ask Where Im a Local” where Selasi claims that there’s much more to a persons Identity than where they’re from. I really liked how she described herself as “multi local” and that her identity is not only shaped by where she’s from but more by the experiences, people and places she’s seen . I had never thought of it like that but after watching the video, I completely agree with her and I think that the same applies to my life.

The header image is a perfect example of this. The people I’m surrounded by, the sport I play and the countries I’ve been too all contribute to my identity little by little to shape me into the person I am.
