1. What have you learned intellectually about the topics we’ve covered so far? Please refer to at least four readings, videos, or activities that helped you learn this and explain why. What questions do you still have about these topics, and how might you use your Soliya experience to enrich your knowledge?Answer: Topic 1; Identity / Privilege walk: It helped me acknowledge how people have different identities and how it does not make them less than the other identity.
    Topic 2;
    Othering/reading of othering and belonging helped me sympathize more with people from other races/ http://www.otheringandbelonging.org/the-problem-of-othering.
    Topic 3; Bias/video of Binna Kandola /https://www.facinghistory.org/resource-library/day-learning-2013-binna-kandola-diffusing-bias / Together with the game inside the video helped me know how all people are biased even though they don’t acknowledge it.
    Topic 4; Equity/reading of imaging equity literacy /https://www.learningforjustice.org/magazine/imagining-equity-literacy / It helped me know the difference between equity and Cultural competence.All these things will help me enrich those ideas with other points of view of different cultures from Soliya.
  2. What have you learned about yourself and the way you view the world so far? What questions do you still have about your own self and how you present yourself to the world? How do you expect your identity to affect your Soliya experience as you interact with people from other cultures? How might you use the Soliya experience to enrich your self-knowledge?Answer: so far, during the course, I have enjoyed learning more about myself. For example, I knew how I could be an unconscious bias toward other people or against them,  how different and unique everyone is and how our identities differ. I view the world should be a freedom of choice, yet it will never be free from judgments, biases, and inequality. When life is a utopia while choosing what they love and doing what is good for them, minding other people’s opinions, and do not harm others with words or violence, I’m good at meeting people and will enjoy the experience.
  3. What have you learned in terms of interactions with other people? What questions do you have about how to become a better “global citizen”? How would you like your Soliya experience to help you learn to be a good “global digital citizen”? How might you use your Soliya experience to enhance your ability to interact with culturally different people?Answer: it’s not easy for me at first; however, with time, it gets better as I learn to adapt to the environment around me. so adaptation is a very important thing when interacting with others. to be a global digital citizen is to be familiar with different cultures and if you are not then interacting with other cultures and traveling will help. I’m really looking forward to the soliya experience and meeting other people.
