I watched the video “How language shapes the way we think” and these are my favourite things from the video.

1. “To have a second language is to have a second soul”

I speak English and Arabic, and this sat with me because each language truly holds its own character and personality and has a different soul to the other. Each of those souls has different emotions and purposes.
