Welcome – I am looking forward to learning with you

I like using headings and bullets and I’m excited about our community agreements, which we co-created today:

• We will listen when other students talk
• We’ll make space for others to speak
• Critique ideas not people
• Be respectful to everyone
• Always give credit where it is deserved (citation and in speech)
• Always help each other and don’t take all the benefit for yourself
• If someone shares a personal story, keep confidential – don’t overshare if you might regret it
• Punctuality – be as punctual as possible (8:35am)
• In-group work – fair distribution of work
• If anything upsets or offends you, you can talk to Dr. Maha
• If you’re gonna be late or miss class, let Dr. Maha know
